for without kindness, there can be no true joy."

About NatureScouter

The name 'NatureScouter' originated from my first blog set to create awareness of my two greatest interest in life - Scouting and Nature. The tag line was 'The life of a Scouter with Nature'. However, it soon became an almost nature focused blog due to my crazy amount of trips to the intertidal shores and for research. Scouting and other related posts were few and far. It was officially inactive by Sep 2008 when I got swarmed with other stuff. Plus, it got flooded with a lot of spammed comments.

With the birth of this new blog, I decided to continue the use of NatureScouter and make it a rambling blog about the new chapter in my life that began 1st June 2009 after I left my job as the Education and Public Relations Officer at the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research. It was a good working environment with very nice colleagues and boss, but I realised I can't be at the desk everyday forever. And of course plus the awakening moment (you will know if you have read 'Historical Rambling').

This blog sets out to act like my online journal, documenting everything I'm doing or thinking about. Guess it's a good way to relief myself by penning it down. Hence stating a couple of disclaimers here: This blog might not exactly be like my first where it's more of a photographic journal, but instead more of a diary I guess. And all my writings are personal thoughts and do not represent any organisations or what so ever. It's all about my new chapter in life and that's the most important.
